Cook Children’s in Fort Worth, TX seeks a Senior Cybersecurity Network Engineer to independently contribute across IT disciplines, developing robust LAN/WAN architectures and security configurations. You will test, deploy, and optimize networks, document changes, and participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation to ensure service levels are met.

Requires at least five years of direct experience and a Bachelor’s degree, with IT certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

Configures, tests, and maintains LAN/WAN equipment and related services.
Identifies, diagnoses, and resolves network problems.
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all implemented networks.
Assist in preparation of budgetary proposals and technical solutions.
Analyze and rectify complex faults on the network to meet defined service levels.
Support network investigation/performance routines to ensure network availability.
Perform complex configuration changes.
Maintain and support the CCHCS LAN/WAN environment.
Daily maintenance and problem resolution, operating system patches and software upgrades.
Participate in 24x7 on-call rotation.
Obtain and maintain required certifications.
