Job summary

Cook Children’s Health Care System is seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst Senior to join the Information Security Office in Fort Worth, TX.

You will administer and maintain security technologies such as IDPS, proxy, and DLP, conduct threat detection and incident response, and mentor junior staff to strengthen the security program.

Requires 8+ years in information security with HIPAA/PCI-DSS compliance, plus strong technical writing and communication skills; CISSP or equivalent certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
• 8 years of professional information security experience with HIPAA/PCI-DSS compliance.
• Strong critical thinking and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent technical writing skills and ability to communicate at all levels.
• Experience identifying, measuring and mitigating network security risks.

Responsibilities

• Administer, support, and maintain cybersecurity technology systems (IDPS, proxy, DLP, etc.).
• Threat mitigation, incident response support and forensics facilitation.
• Vulnerability and medical device IoT scanning and reporting.
• Policy compliance enforcement and data protection reviews.
