Job summary

U.S. Fleet Forces Command is seeking a seasoned Information Systems Security Manager to lead and oversee the cybersecurity posture for command systems.

You will advise the Commanding Officer on vulnerabilities and threats, supervise cybersecurity personnel, and ensure RMF accreditation plans meet stringent requirements. The role requires a deep understanding of cyber risk management, policy development, and leadership of diverse teams of civilians, military, and contractors.

Qualifications

• Experience with interrelationships of multiple IT specialties in oversight of cyber security vulnerabilities and threats.
• Developing, implementing, and enforcing Information Security Policies and Procedures.
• Reviewing system accreditation plans for networks and systems through C&A know-how.
• Leading and/or managing complex security projects and initiatives.
• Staying current with emerging technologies and applying them to security processes.

Responsibilities

• Utilize mastery knowledge of IT specialties to oversee cyber security risk management.
• Develop and enforce Security Policies aligned with DoD architecture and security implications.
• Review accreditation plans for networks and systems under command cognizance for compliance.
• Lead and manage complex security projects across civilian, military, and contractor teams.
• Stay informed on new IT developments and apply to security processes.
