Job summary

Client seeks a Cybersecurity Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE), SME to support mission-critical DoD/Space Force programs. You will design, implement, and maintain security solutions for classified networks and systems, ensuring confidentiality, integrity, and availability of critical information assets.

In this role you will perform RMF/NIST compliance, conduct risk assessments, track action items, and provide senior leadership with actionable recommendations.

Qualifications

• Must have active TS/SCI clearance.
• 15+ years of cybersecurity, information assurance, or systems security engineering experience in DoD/IC environments.
• Deep knowledge of RMF, NIST, and DoD/DAF/IC cybersecurity policies and practices.
• Experience with security architectures, controls, and ATO activities.
• Demonstrated leadership as a cybersecurity SME.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert cybersecurity engineering guidance for DoD/Space Force programs.
• Lead design, implementation, and assessment of security solutions for classified environments.
• Ensure RMF/NIST compliance and support risk management activities.
• Collaborate with government stakeholders and engineers to integrate security across systems.
• Track action items, compliance activities, and remediation efforts through completion.
• Prepare and present technical findings and risk assessments to senior leadership.
