Job summary

Everforth ECS in Washington, DC is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join our hybrid office. The role focuses on cybersecurity processes, governance, risk, and compliance in a federal contracting context.

You will translate complex security requirements into clear specifications, mentor analysts, and collaborate with IT and leadership to deliver compliant solutions. A Secret clearance with eligibility for Top Secret is required; the position is contingent upon contract award.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in CS, MIS/IT, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum five years information security experience.
  • Experience with full-scope security control testing across component types.
  • Working knowledge of RMF Steps 1-6.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Active Secret clearance with eligibility for Top Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Lead cybersecurity process development and security assessment workflows.
  • Document processes in SharePoint and a GRC.
  • Elicit and translate business needs into functional specifications and use cases.
  • Analyze data, model processes, and propose improvements.
  • Develop business cases and cost/benefit analyses for leadership.
  • Coordinate between business units and IT during projects.
  • Mentor junior analysts and support UAT/QA.
  • Oversee testing and ensure on-time delivery within budget.
  • May handle vendor management and system administration tasks.
  • Provide governance support for common controls and cloud onboarding.
