Job summary

Interclypse, Inc. in Maryland seeks a senior cybersecurity engineering leader to architect and optimize security solutions for state and commercial clients.

You will drive complex projects, mentor junior engineers, and serve as a subject matter expert on security engineering and architecture services. The role emphasizes operationalizing Zero Trust, integrating AI and automation to enhance threat detection and response, and collaborating across teams to deliver secure, scalable systems on-site

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Cybersecurity, CS, IS, Engineering, or related field.
• Master's degree preferred.
• At least eight (8) years of experience in systems or network engineering.
• At least five (5) years supervising system engineers and managing security engineering projects.
• Experience with enterprise-scale security solutions and leading technical responses during major cybersecurity incidents.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for the implementation and continuous optimization of cybersecurity solutions and services.
• Lead complex projects and mentor junior engineers.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for security engineering and architecture services.
• Drive the operationalization of Zero Trust architectures and the integration of AI and automation to enhance threat detection and response capabilities.
