Collins Aerospace, a RTX company, is seeking a Sr. Systems Security Engineer to contribute to the development and deployment of System Security solutions on the Starburst program. This role is onsite in Largo, FL and requires an active TS/SCI clearance on day one.

You will work with a multi-disciplinary team, focusing on implementing and sustaining program security requirements. Responsibilities include deploying capabilities within a DoD air-gapped network, creating supporting documentation,

Qualifications

• Typically requires a STEM degree and 5+ years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree with 3+ years of experience.
• Active and transferable TS/SCI security clearance is required prior to start date.
• Experience with enterprise configuration and patch management tools (MECM/WSUS).
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II cert (Security+/CISSP) or equivalent.

Responsabilités

• Operate within a secure DoD IT network to deploy new capabilities on a sustained basis.
• Create and present material to convey concepts to diverse audiences.
• Work onsite in a closed area environment with occasional offsite opportunities.
• Document systems, schematics and operation guides and procedures.
• Interface with teams to define and implement cyber risk posture and mitigation.
