Collins Aerospace, an RTX company, is seeking a Systems Engineer II to contribute to the Secure Subsystems Department responsible for cross-domain technologies and cryptographic products for defense missions. You will participate in all phases of the systems engineering lifecycle, from architecture to verification, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet program milestones.

Qualifications

• Experience with the systems development process, including requirements capture, design, decomposition, integration, and verification/validation, and transition to production.
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 2 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field

Responsabilités

• Collaborate with a dedicated, high-performing team driving the development of airborne and ground communication products, delivering secure, mission-critical solutions to our customers.
• Contribute to all phases of the systems engineering lifecycle, including trade studies, system architecture, requirements definition and allocation, traceability, integration, verification, and qualification.
• Partner with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure successful execution of key program milestones.
• Provide systems engineering support for bids and proposals, contributing to technical strategy and solution development.
• Perform daily tasks in a classified and controlled lab environment.
• Travel up to 10%.
