Job summary

Amyx, Inc. seeks a Cybersecurity Engineer in Columbus, OH or Richmond, VA. The role leads cybersecurity engineering tasks across planning, design, and integration of information systems, focusing on threat analysis and SIEM use cases using Splunk ES.

The candidate will analyze security requirements, develop data dashboards, and maintain Splunk infrastructure to support incident responders and IAM teams. Strong certification and clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Seven (7) years of relevant IT experience.
• DOD Secret Clearance.
• IT-II Critical Sensitive security clearance or Tier 3 (T3).
• Archer Certified Administrator or equivalent certification for Windows Server.

Responsibilities

• Lead cybersecurity engineering tasks across planning, design, development, testing and integration of information systems.
• Analyze information security requirements and threat information from logs, IDS, and vendor sites.
• Develop SIEM rules, reports, dashboards, data monitors, and use cases to identify threats and optimize data mining.
• Install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain Splunk Enterprise Log Management architecture.
