Amyx, Inc. seeks a Cybersecurity Engineer to be located in Columbus, OH or Richmond, VA. The role leads cybersecurity engineering tasks across planning, design, testing and integration of information systems.

The candidate will build Splunk ES dashboards, rules, and data monitors, analyze threat data, and support incident responders while maintaining SPLUNK and related infrastructure. Requires active security clearance and 7 years of IT experience.

Qualifications

• Seven years of IT experience in cybersecurity roles.
• DOD Secret Clearance and IT-I Critical Sensitive/T5 eligibility.
• Experience with threat detection and security engineering.
• Four years creating customized signatures using SNORT.

Responsibilities

• Integrate processes to resolve cybersecurity problems and requirements.
• Analyze information security requirements and apply systematic approaches.
• Provide security engineering support across planning, design, development, testing and integration.
• Develop Splunk ES rules, reports, dashboards, and data monitors.
• Research and maintain DLA Splunk Enterprise Log Management architecture.
