Job summary

PMAT is seeking a CyberSecurity Engineer III to design, deploy, secure, and sustain Secret/Top Secret environments across on-premises and private cloud. You will work with VMware ESXi/vSAN, RHEL, Windows Server, and security controls in a collaborative, mission-focused team.

You will automate with Ansible and IaC tools, address vulnerabilities, and support accreditation packages, DIAS/NIST controls, and mission-ready IT services for government customers.

Qualifications

• Five+ years in infrastructure engineering, systems administration, or network engineering.
• Experience with VMware ESXi and vSAN virtualization environments.
• Experience deploying and maintaining RHEL and Windows Server environments.
• Experience with infrastructure automation (Ansible, Terraform) and IaC.
• Experience implementing DISA STIGs and NIST SP 800-53 controls.
• Strong understanding of on-prem/cloud architectures and secure data centers.
• Ability to track and remediate vulnerabilities in regulated environments.
• Experience supporting DoD/IC mission systems or regulated environments.
• Ability to work with multiple teams in a classified environment.

Responsibilities

• Support secure Secret/Top Secret infrastructure stacks in on-premises and private cloud.
• Administer large VMware ESXi and vSAN virtualization platforms.
• Deploy and maintain RHEL 6/7/8 and Windows Server 2019/2022 systems.
• Implement security controls per DISA/NIST requirements.
• Automate builds, patching, configuration, and hardening (Ansible, Jenkins, PDQ, WSUS).
• Identify and remediate vulnerabilities using ACAS, Nessus, Splunk, and related tools.
• Support AD, databases, Veeam, Horizon, Atlassian Suite, and monitoring platforms.
• Troubleshoot LAN/WAN and routing issues (OSPF, BGP) in virtualized networks.
• Collaborate with teams to design secure infrastructure solutions and support accreditations.
