Job summary

Precise Systems, Inc. is seeking an experienced Cyber Engineer to design, automate, secure, and sustain mission-critical environments across Linux, Windows Server, cloud, and containerized stacks.

You will drive vulnerability management, secure configurations, and automation within DevSecOps pipelines, coordinating with cybersecurity, software, and mission stakeholders to reduce risks and support accreditation activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent Experience.
• Current Security+ Certificate.
• 10+ years of related experience in cybersecurity engineering or security operations.
• Experience supporting enterprise, cloud, containerized, or classified environments.
• Strong scripting/automation and risk remediation skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and improve security automation pipelines in DevSecOps environments.
• Support vulnerability management across production, development, cloud, and classified environments.
• Maintain vulnerability status and remediation progress across systems.
• Apply secure configuration changes and hardening across infrastructure.
• Support Linux/Windows Server security and infrastructure security enhancements.
• Implement controls per NIST SP 800-53, DISA STIGs, RMF, and ATO processes.
• Use scripting and IaC to automate builds, patching, and compliance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to communicate risks and remediation strategies.
