Job summary

Precise Systems in the United States seeks a highly experienced Cyber Engineer to design, automate, secure, and sustain mission-critical environments across dev, prod, and classified systems. You will implement vulnerability management, secure pipelines, and system hardening in DevSecOps contexts.

The role requires in-person support and deep expertise in RMF, NIST SP 800-53, and containerized architectures, with a record of communicating risk to engineers and program leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• Active Security+ certification.
• 10+ years of related cybersecurity engineering/ops experience.
• Experience with Linux and Windows Server administration.
• Experience with DevSecOps, vulnerability management, and secure SDLC.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and improve security automation pipelines in DevSecOps environments.
• Support vulnerability management across production, development, cloud, containerized, and classified environments.
• Manage Plans of Action and Milestones for security findings.
• Develop and implement mitigations for identified vulnerabilities.
• Support secure infrastructure stacks across Linux, Windows Server, virtualization, private cloud, and containerized environments.
• Implement controls in alignment with NIST SP 800-53, DISA STIGs, RMF, ATO, and Zero Trust.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to troubleshoot issues and communicate risks, dependencies, and recommendations.
