Job summary

SimVentions, Inc. is seeking a Senior-Level Cybersecurity Engineer to join our team. This on-site role is located at NSWC Dahlgren, Virginia, supporting Navy combat systems.

Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility is required; IAT Level II or higher certification is expected, with DoD IA policy knowledge and MBSE capabilities for cyber risk analysis and system engineering. Bachelors in Cybersecurity preferred.

Qualifications

• Five years of program security engineering in Navy systems or ten years general security engineering.
• IAT Level II or higher per DoD 8570.01 or equivalent; privileged user training and JPAS requirements apply.
• Strong understanding of DoD IA policies and able to communicate clearly in writing and presentations.

Responsibilities

• Develop cybersecurity requirements, standards, and guidance for combat systems.
• Lead groups to develop cybersecurity strategies against threats.
• Analyze gaps in cybersecurity policy, risk assessments, and system engineering.
• Document cybersecurity requirements and risk mitigation plans for combat systems.
• Use MBSE models to perform cybersecurity analyses.
