Job summary

SimVentions is seeking a Senior-Level Cybersecurity Engineer to join our team, seated 100% on-site at NSWC Dahlgren, VA. The role requires an ACTIVE Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility and extensive Navy cybersecurity experience.

You will develop cybersecurity requirements, policy standards, and guidance for combat systems, lead strategy groups to address threats, and perform risk assessments and MBSE-enabled analyses. A Bachelor's in Cybersecurity is preferred.

Qualifications

• Five years program-specific security engineering experience (Navy afloat/tactical systems) or ten years general security engineering experience.
• Minimum IAT Level II DoD 8570.01 certification or equivalent; privileged users require T-5/T-R with IT level-1 in JPAS.
• Solid understanding of cybersecurity, DoD IA policies, and ability to communicate clearly in written and oral form.

Responsibilities

• Develop cybersecurity requirements, policy standards, and guidance for combat systems.
• Lead groups to develop cybersecurity strategies against emerging threats.
• Perform cybersecurity policy gap analysis for combat systems and related IT.
• Conduct cybersecurity system engineering design, analysis and documentation for combat systems.
• Develop risk assessment analyses and mitigation plans for combat systems.
• Document cybersecurity requirements, gap analysis, and threat analyses; support MBSE models.
• Utilize MBSE models to perform cybersecurity analysis.
