Job summary

SimVentions, Inc is seeking a Senior-Level Cybersecurity Engineer to join our on-site team at NSWC Dahlgren, Virginia. The role requires active Top Secret clearance eligibility and extensive experience in cybersecurity for Navy combat systems.

Responsibilities include developing cybersecurity requirements, conducting analyses, and leading strategy development to counter evolving threats. A Bachelor's in Cybersecurity is preferred, with substantial DoD IA policy knowledge and clear communication

Qualifications

• Five (5) years program specific security engineering experience with Navy afloat/tactical systems, or ten (10) years general security engineering experience.
• IAT Level II or higher per DoD 8570.01; Privileged users must have additional JPAS clearance and OS/CE training within six months.
• Understand DoD IA policies and communicate clearly in written/oral presentations.

Responsibilities

• Develop cybersecurity requirements, policy standards, and guidance for combat systems.
• Conduct cybersecurity research and analysis to support DOD cyber assurance and policy efforts across multiple classifications.
• Lead working groups to develop cybersecurity strategies addressing emerging threats.
• Perform cybersecurity system engineering design, analysis, and documentation for combat systems.
• Develop risk assessment analyses and mitigation plans for cybersecurity of combat systems.
• Create documentation of requirements, gap/threat analyses, and MBSE models for cyber analysis.
