Job summary

Machine Learning Technologies, LLC is seeking a highly experienced Cyber Security Engineer in Atlanta to manage advanced network security, NGFWs, NDR, NAC, and email security. Qualifications

• Hands-on expertise in Network Security, Next-Generation Firewalls, Network Detection and Response (NDR), Network Access Control (NAC), and Email Security.
• Handle Level 3 security escalations, lead troubleshooting activities, and provide technical direction to offshore teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage Palo Alto NGFWs and related tools (Panorama, GlobalProtect, Prisma Access).
• Configure and secure firewall policies, VPN, SASE, HA, patches, and troubleshooting.
• Implement and support NDR solutions (Darktrace, Gigamon).
• Monitor network traffic visibility (SPAN/TAP) and investigate threats.
• Design, implement and enforce NAC with Forescout, Cisco ISE, or Aruba ClearPass.
• Manage email security solutions (Proofpoint) and remediate email threats.
• Investigate phishing and malware incidents and perform email threat remediation.
• Implement and manage DMARC, DKIM, and SPF configurations.
• Handle complex Level 3 security escalations independently.
• Provide technical direction to offshore teams and identify security gaps for improvements.
