Job summary

Vensure Employer Solutions in Chandler, Arizona, seeks a Senior Cyber Security Specialist to protect our systems and networks from cyber threats. You will identify vulnerabilities, implement security controls, and respond to incidents.

The role requires knowledge of security architectures, cloud security (Azure/AWS), SIEM, and endpoint protection, plus the ability to communicate risk to business leaders. You will mentor junior staff and help shape enterprise resiliency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree plus 2+ years experience in cyber security or related field.
• CISSP, AZ-500/AWS Security – Specialty, BSCP or equivalent highly desirable.
• Hands-on experience with cloud security and security technologies.

Responsibilities

• Assess and design security architecture at scale in complex environments.
• Plan and implement enterprise security solutions for hybrid environments.
• Review vulnerabilities and determine operational impact.
• Produce cyber security metrics and reports for stakeholders.
• Respond to breaches and incidents; support junior staff.
• Communicate risks and remediation steps to leadership.
• Develop changes to procedures and ensure security controls.
• Assist in resiliency, disaster recovery and business continuity.
