Job summary

Vensure Employer Solutions in Chandler, Arizona, is seeking a Senior Cyber Security Specialist to protect systems and networks from cyber threats. You will identify vulnerabilities, implement security controls, respond to incidents, and communicate risks to leaders.

Strong knowledge of security technologies, cloud security, and regulatory requirements is required, with CISSP/CEH/CISM desirable. The role requires collaboration across teams, on-site work, and a proactive approach to safeguarding

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 4+ years in related field.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or CISM are highly desirable.
• Experience as a cyber security engineer or system administrator.
• Strong knowledge of security technologies including firewalls and SIEM.
• Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud).
• Familiarity with regulatory standards (GDPR, HIPAA, NIST, ISO).
• Scripting in Python or PowerShell for automation.

Responsibilities

• Review and validate detected cyber security incidents and risks.
• Determine operational impacts of cyber security control failures.
• Develop and present cyber security statistics and metrics.
• Respond to security breaches and incidents and support junior staff.
• Communicate business impacts and remediation steps to leadership.
• Develop changes to cyber security procedures and systems.
• Apply latest security trends to prevent risk to the business.
• Provide input to enterprise resiliency and disaster recovery.
