Job summary

Trinnex is seeking a Senior Cyber Security Analyst to join its Security Team and safeguard software used in water utilities and infrastructure. You will embed security into the SDLC, lead threat detection, vulnerability management, and secure development practices across projects.

You’ll partner with engineering and development teams to protect critical systems, respond to incidents, conduct assessments, and drive DevSecOps maturity, strengthening overall security posture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required; 6 years cybersecurity experience.
• Equivalent direct related experience considered in lieu of a degree.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct advanced security monitoring and develop custom detection rules.
• Lead response efforts for complex incidents, including forensics.
• Design and execute vulnerability assessments and penetration tests.
• Remediate vulnerabilities with secure SDLC practices.
• Review security controls and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Develop threat intelligence and defense strategies.
• Mentor junior analysts and support security program growth.
• Collaborate with IT and software teams to strengthen secure coding.
