AbbVie is seeking a talented Senior Cyber Security Engineer to join our Cyber Threat Intelligence team.
This role will focus on designing, building, and automating components of our secrets discovery program. You will utilize your skills in software development, cyber intelligence/response, and data analytics to identify, analyze, validate, and escalate exposed secrets both internally and externally.
You will have the opportunity to develop this service creatively, including building custom applications to manage the secrets discovery lifecycle. Collaboration with stakeholders across security and technology teams will be essential to support informed decision-making through accurate and timely intelligence.
This position is remote, anywhere in the U.S.
Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience in:
Applicants should have experience deploying applications in production-like environments.
Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree with 7+ years of experience, a Master’s Degree with 6+ years, or a PhD with 2+ years.
Knowledge of cybersecurity principles related to authentication and network/application security is advantageous.
Strong communication skills, both written and oral, and experience communicating at various organizational levels are required.
