AbbVie is seeking a talented Senior Cyber Security Engineer to join our Cyber Threat Intelligence team.
This role will focus on designing, building, and automating components of our secrets discovery program. You will leverage your skills in software development, cyber intelligence/response, and data analytics to discover, analyze, validate, and escalate exposed secrets both internally and externally.
You will have the opportunity to develop this service creatively, including building custom applications to manage the secrets discovery lifecycle. Additionally, you will collaborate on multiple cyber intelligence initiatives and partner with stakeholders across security and technology teams to support informed decision-making through accurate and timely intelligence.
This position can be remote anywhere in the U.S.
Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience with:
Candidates should have experience building and deploying applications in a production-like environment.
Qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree with 7 years of experience, or a Master's Degree with 6 years, or a PhD with 2 years.
Knowledge of cybersecurity principles related to authentication and network/application security is a plus.
Strong written and oral communication skills are essential, with experience communicating at various organizational levels.
