Job summary

Huntington National Bank is seeking a Principal Cybersecurity Engineer to provide technical and engineering leadership for cybersecurity platforms and services. The role covers provisioning, support, and ongoing maintenance aligned with the enterprise security strategy.

The position emphasizes cryptography expertise, security tooling, and operating system and network design experience to strengthen the bank's security posture. Remote work is allowed with EST/CST overlap.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or 4+ years of related cybersecurity experience required.
• 8+ years of production support and design of Cyber Security technologies.
• 8+ years of operational experience with security technologies.
• 8+ years of implementing or utilizing technology lifecycles and best practices.
• 1+ years of experience in the implementation of cyber security tools (hardware and software).
• 1+ years of experience in leading projects and implementing new technologies.

Responsibilities

• Participate in design, implementation, and delivery of Post Quantum Cryptographic solutions.
• Provide SME in cryptography including FIPS 203-205, FALCON, and NIST IR 8547 algorithms; network architecture and mainframe knowledge.
• Develop and maintain cybersecurity solutions.
• Other duties as assigned.
