Job summary

Huntington National Bank is seeking a Principal Cybersecurity Engineer to provide technical leadership across cryptographic platforms and security services. The role focuses on provisioning, supporting, and maintaining enterprise cyber security platforms in alignment with the bank’s security strategy.

The position requires deep knowledge of post-quantum cryptography, PKI, and network architectures, with extensive experience in security tool implementation and cross-functional project leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or 4+ additional years of related cybersecurity experience.
• 8+ years of production support and design of Cyber Security technologies.
• 8+ years of operational experience with security technologies.
• 8+ years of implementing or utilizing technology lifecycles and best practices.
• 1+ years of experience in the implementation of cyber security tools (hardware and software).
• 1+ years of experience in participating and leading projects and implementing new technologies and solutions.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the design, implementation, and delivery of Post Quantum Cryptographic solutions and systems.
• Provide Subject Matter Expertise within the cryptography space, including FIPS 203-205, FALCON, and NIST IR 8547 candidate algorithms, as well as network architecture, systems design, software platforms, API calls, and some knowledge on mainframe architecture.
• Responsible for developing and maintaining cyber security solutions.
• Other duties as assigned.
