Job summary

Huntington National Bank is seeking a Senior Principal Software Developer (AI Cybersecurity) to lead the design, development, deployment, and operation of enterprise AI solutions in the cybersecurity domain. The role requires hands-on technical leadership, mentoring, and setting engineering standards across teams.

The candidate will work on cloud-native architectures, secure SDLC practices, and integration with enterprise security tools (SIEM, SOAR, IAM).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 4+ years of equivalent experience in software development.
• 10+ years of software development experience and 8+ years in cybersecurity-related production and SDLC.
• Proficiency with Python, Java, C#, JavaScript/TypeScript, Go, SQL, PowerShell and scripting languages.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy AI/ML applications for cybersecurity operations.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship across teams.
• Embed secure coding and governance into AI development and pipelines.
• Develop AI use cases for threat detection, alert triage, and risk scoring.
• Implement agentic AI and integrate with SIEM, SOAR, IAM tools.
