Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to strengthen cyber defense using AI and cutting-edge tech. You will join the CDS team to guide data transit assurance and security policy adherence on client projects.

The role requires TS/SCI with Polygraph, 15+ years of experience, and strong communication skills to work with a diverse set of stakeholders. Location is Herndon, VA, with onsite work expectations.

Qualifications

• Technical training, certification, or degree in Cyber Security, CS, IT, or equivalent experience.
• 15+ years of technical experience with cross-domain experience.
• Working knowledge of information security policies/regulations and CNSS/NSPM-12 guidance.

Responsibilities

• Daily support to CDS-related requests and TEMs.
• Lead efforts to create/update CDS inventory to meet compliance.
• Consult on technologies, threats, and vulnerabilities with project teams.
• Assist in implementing government policies and tailoring processes.
• Support file type review and risk assessment reporting.
• May serve as a team or task lead.
