Job summary

KBR seeks a Cyber & Cross Domain Solution (CDS) Systems Engineer to define, evaluate, and integrate secure data movement and cybersecurity strategies for DoD mission environments, including IL5/IL6 and air‑gapped systems. The role supports CI/CD, vulnerability remediation, and mission assurance across multiple domains.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, math, physics, information systems or related technical field.
• Experience with cyber security, cross‑domain solutions, or mission assurance in DoD environments.

Responsibilities

• Cross Domain Solution strategy: evaluate, define, and support CDS implementation across security domains.
• CDS architecture support: assess CDS tech including data diodes, cloud-native security, and secure transfers.
• Multi-domain coordination: support data movement across IL5/IL6, air-gapped systems, MPE.
• Technology evaluation: identify opportunities to leverage enterprise services and define new CDS capabilities.
• Cybersecurity integration: coordinate with software, DevSecOps, and ops teams to align with mission delivery.
• CI/CD vulnerability remediation: improve CVE management workflows and secure software delivery.
• Cyber strategy support: develop cyber strategies, roadmaps, and mission assurance approaches.
• Program protection planning: contribute to PPP activities, risk assessments, and protection discussions.
• Cyber exercise participation: support COOP exercises, readiness activities, risk reviews.
• Stakeholder coordination: interface with cyber and government stakeholders to align cybersecurity.
