Job summary

SimVentions, Inc is seeking a Senior-Level Cybersecurity Engineer to join our team and support naval combat systems at Dahlgren, VA. This role requires an active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility and US citizenship for security access.

You will develop cybersecurity requirements, lead threat analyses, and guide system architecture and policy development for Navy platforms. On-site work, travel negligible, with a comprehensive benefits package and ESOP.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years program specific security engineering experience with Navy afloat/tactical combat systems or ten (10) years general security engineering experience.
• Minimum certification as IAT Level II or higher per DoD 8570.01, or successor.
• Privileged users must complete OS/CE training and maintain JPAS designation as applicable.
• Understanding of DoD IA policies for Land Based and afloat/tactical systems; ability to communicate clearly in presentations.

Responsibilities

• Develop cybersecurity requirements, policy standards, best practices, and guidance for combat systems.
• Conduct cybersecurity research, analysis, and coordination for multi-classification efforts.
• Lead groups to develop cybersecurity strategies against emerging threats.
• Perform cybersecurity system engineering design, analysis, and documentation for combat systems.
• Develop risk assessments and mitigation plans for combat systems.
