Job summary

T-Mobile is seeking a Senior Threat Response & Automation Lead to drive efficiency in the Security Operations Center and incident response teams. You will design processes, govern AI adoption, and scale automation across the Threat Response Organization to improve response speed and data-driven decisions.

Role requires hands-on process, automation, and AI work with strategic oversight, collaborating with cybersecurity and business teams, and delivering measurable improvements in resilience

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and 5+ years in related work required
• Advanced degree with 3+ years related experience required
• CS or IT field required
• 4-7 years of security software or business process design preferred
• 4-7 years in technical PM and cross-functional design teams preferred
• 3-5 years automating security workflows with SOAR/tools preferred
• 2-4 years experience with SIEM/detection tooling (Splunk, Sentinel) preferred
• 1-3 years hands-on with modern AI tools (e.g., Claude) preferred

Responsibilities

• Designs, improves, and documents threat response processes and trains team on new processes, automation, and AI
• Governs automation and AI adoption across threat response
• Partners with cybersecurity and business teams to deliver solutions aligned with goals
• Leads projects to advance Threat Response Organization capabilities
• Builds and integrates automation and AI into response workflows to reduce manual effort
• Develops data, reporting, and visibility to drive decisions
• Participates in other duties or projects as needed
