Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology with 5+ years of related work experience (required)
• Advanced degree with 3+ years of related experience (preferred)
• 4-7 years of experience with security software and process design (preferred)
• 4-7 years of experience in technical project management and cross-functional design teams (preferred)
• 3-5 years hands-on automation with SOAR and scripting (preferred)
• 2-4 years experience with SIEM/detection tooling (e.g., Splunk, MS Sentinel) (preferred)
• 1-3 years hands-on experience applying modern AI tools (e.g., Claude) to security/workflows (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Design, improve, and document threat response processes and train the team on automation and AI to boost SOC speed
• Govern automation and AI adoption across threat response with use case review and deduplication
• Collaborate with cybersecurity and business teams to align solutions with goals
• Lead projects advancing the Threat Response Organization capabilities
• Build and integrate automation/AI into response workflows to reduce manual effort
• Develop data, reporting, and visibility to inform decisions and surface opportunities
• Support additional duties as needed by management
