Cox Automotive, Atlanta, GA, is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to protect the enterprise by detecting, investigating, and remediating threats. You will perform advanced threat analysis, threat intelligence, and incident response, applying AI to SOC operations and leading cybersecurity projects across cloud, network, endpoint, and identity environments.

Responsibilities include managing SIEM/SOAR, performing threat analyses with MITRE ATT&CK, and safeguarding AI usage and data.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline with 4 years' experience (or equivalent).
• Hands-on threat intelligence and incident response experience.
• Proficiency with security technologies (firewalls, VPN, IDS/IPS, SASE, secure web proxy, EDR/XDR, SIEM, SOAR).
• Strong digital forensics and analytical problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and security services.
• Proficiency with query languages (SPL, KQL, Python, PowerShell).

Responsabilités

• Respond to and remediate email, endpoint, identity, cloud, AI, and network threats; provide forensic support.
• Provide after-hours support for response activities.
• Collaborate to improve security capabilities and threat response.
• Lead or assist in projects implementing advanced technologies across cloud, network, endpoint, identity, and email environments.
• Operate and tune SIEM, SOAR, threat intel platforms, and other security tools.
• Perform threat analysis using MITRE ATT&CK and related models.
• Detect and respond to AI-enabled threats and risks from AI use, generators, and agents.
• Build AI-powered automation to streamline SOC processes.
