Job summary

Visionaire Partners seeks a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to lead security operations, strengthen defenses, and shape long-term security strategy in the Greater Atlanta area. Hybrid work arrangement available (1 day remote per week) under direct-hire terms.

The role covers three core areas: threat response & vulnerability management, daily security operations, and engineering/strategic projects to advance SOC capabilities and future tech investments.

Qualifications

• 8+ years focused on network infrastructure & security.
• Windows, Linux, Microsoft Domain Services, and O365 Cloud Security expertise.
• Hands-on SOC experience, NAC, network authentication, endpoint security, encryption, and vulnerability tools.
• Proficient in PowerShell, Python, BASH, or similar languages.
• Strong presentation capabilities and experience with project/change management.

Looking to play a central role in protecting mission-critical infrastructure? We are seeking an well rounded Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to lead security operations, strengthen enterprise defenses, and shape our long-term security strategy.

What You’ll Do

This High-impact Role Balances Three Core Areas

• 33% Threat Response & Vulnerability Management: Monitor alerts, manage vulnerabilities, and lead incident response.
• 33% Daily Ops: Operationalize the tech stack, maintain tools, and support team members.
• 33% Engineering & Strategic Projects: Design/deploy advanced defenses, advance SOC capabilities, and drive future tech investments.

Key Responsibilities

• Strengthen network, cloud, and endpoint protection systems.
• Ensure compliance with critical infrastructure standards and security policies.
• Lead CIRT, SOC, and security awareness (SETA) initiatives.
• Support budgeting, security audits, and risk assessments.

Qualifications

• Experience: 8+ years focused on network infrastructure & security.
• Systems & Cloud: Windows, Linux, Microsoft Domain Services, and O365 Cloud Security expertise.
• Technical Mastery: Hands-on SOC experience, NAC, network authentication, endpoint security, encryption, and vulnerability tools.
• Scripting: Proficient in PowerShell, Python, BASH, or similar languages.
• Soft Skills: Proven presentation capabilities, creative problem-solving, and project/change management awareness.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree required.

Location:

Greater Atlanta Area (Direct-Hire). Hybrid model available (1 day remote/week).
