Job summary

Visionaire Partners in the Metro Atlanta area is seeking a Lead Cybersecurity Engineer to own an end-to-end security architecture for a multi-entity enterprise. You will drive strategic defense, secure cloud infrastructure, and lead incident response initiatives across IR, Forensics, and data governance.

You will mentor engineers, communicate risk strategies to executive leadership, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement Zero Trust and NIST-aligned controls.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive cybersecurity engineering experience.
• Hands-on leadership in securing cloud, IR, and data governance.
• Proficiency with NIST CSF/800-53, CIS Controls, ISO 27001.

Responsibilities

• Architect and scale enterprise security across IR, Digital Forensics, EDR, Zero Trust, and Data Governance.
• Direct complex incident response investigations and playbook development.
• Secure MS Azure cloud infrastructure and container platforms (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Execute threat hunting, purple teaming, and adversary emulation to validate controls.
• Oversee vulnerability management, risk reporting, and MSSP SLAs.
• Mentor engineers and communicate risk strategies to executives.

Looking to own an end-to-end security architecture for a dynamic, multi-entity enterprise? A premier organization in the Metro Atlanta area is hiring a hands‑on Lead Cybersecurity Engineer to drive strategic defense, secure cloud infrastructure, and lead incident response.

What You’ll Lead & Build

• Architect, build, own, and scale enterprise security across IR, Digital Forensics, EDR, Zero Trust, Network, and Data Governance.
• Direct complex incident response investigations, root-cause analyses, and playbook development.
• Secure MS Azure cloud infrastructure, container platforms (Docker, Kubernetes), and virtualization (VMware).
• Execute threat hunting, purple teaming, and adversary emulation to validate controls.
• Oversee vulnerability management, NIST-aligned risk reporting, and MSSP vendor SLAs.
• Mentor engineering talent and communicate risk strategies directly to executive leadership.

What You Bring

• 8+ years of progressive cybersecurity engineering
• Hands‑on technical leadership expertise in architecting, building, and owning tools and solutions across EDR, IR, Digital Forensics, Zero Trust, and Data Governance.
• Deep technical mastery of cloud security and enterprise virtualization.
• Working knowledge of security frameworks (NIST CSF/800-53, CIS Controls, ISO 27001).
• Preferred Certifications: CISSP, GIAC (GCIH, GCFA), CCSP, CISM, or OSCP.
