Zusammenfassung

Lafayette Group in Arlington, VA is seeking a senior cybersecurity program advisor to support federal national cybersecurity initiatives by coordinating information sharing across priority communities and turning strategy into actionable outcomes.

You will serve as trusted advisor, facilitate sessions with stakeholders, translate strategy into practical products, and report on key metrics. This on-site role requires an active TS clearance, U.S. citizenship, and 8+ years of relevant experience.

Qualifikationen

  • Active TS security clearance and SCI eligible.
  • U.S. citizenship with ability to obtain DHS Suitability.
  • Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, information technology, or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity translating strategy into tangible products.
  • Ability to maintain broader situational awareness beyond the immediate team.
  • Strong background in stakeholder engagement and relationship management with diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience facilitating meetings, workshops, or cross-sector working groups.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Support federal national cybersecurity initiatives by coordinating information sharing across priority intelligence communities and turning strategy into actionable outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as a trusted advisor by providing tailored recommendations to help clients address evolving programs and processes.
  • Facilitate collaborative working sessions with external stakeholders to ensure product recommendations align with operational processes, compliance requirements, and resource limitations.
  • Coordinate targeted engagements to deliver cyber products to priority communities.
  • Interpret cybersecurity topics to tailor oral and written communications for specific stakeholder audiences (for example, Executives and SOC).
  • Collect and analyze qualitative and quantitative performance data indicators to report on key metrics.
  • Support a team in translating strategic products into clear, practical formats tailored to the needs and operational constraints of stakeholder groups.
Requirements
  • Active TS security clearance and SCI eligible.
  • U.S. citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain DHS Suitability (EOD).
  • Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, information technology, business analysis, management, or a similar field.
  • 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity or a related field, with experience translating high-level strategy into tangible, actionable products.
  • Ability to maintain broader situational awareness beyond the immediate team.
  • Strong background in stakeholder engagement and relationship management, including a record of successful collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience facilitating meetings, workshops, or cross-sector working groups.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Desired Skills
  • Experience in a consulting or advisory capacity, providing guidance and recommendations to external organizations.
  • Knowledge of communication channels and outreach strategies, including social media, webinars, and partner portals.
  • Familiarity with the operations and mission of CISA, JCDC, or other federal cybersecurity organizations, including situational awareness related to incidents, events, and vulnerabilities.
  • Knowledge of critical infrastructure sectors, public-private partnerships, and cyber defense missions.
Location & Schedule
  • On site, 5 days per week
  • Arlington, VA
Compensation
  • Salary range: USD 110,000 - 140,000 per year
  • LGI considers multiple factors when determining salary, including education and training, professional experience, knowledge and skills, licensure and certifications, contract-specific affordability, and organizational requirements.
  • New hires are not usually brought in at the top of the estimated range; salary depends on the circumstances and factors for the individual case.
  • Salary is one component of LGI’s total compensation package.
Federal Contract Requirements
  • This role involves working on federal contracts requiring all workers to be U.S. Citizens.
  • Some contracts may require the ability to obtain a security clearance.
