Job summary

American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) is seeking a Senior Consultant I to provide cybersecurity expertise across multiple engagements, ensuring quality delivery on schedule and within budget. The role involves client interaction, reporting to project managers, and supporting RMF, A&A, and vulnerability management across DoD and maritime environments.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, 5+ years of experience, and an active security clearance or ability to obtain one.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• 5+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Active Security Clearance required or ability to obtain it.
• Professional certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide cybersecurity expertise on project tasks to meet customer requirements.
• Assist project manager with task definition and scheduling.
• Review project management plans for scope and schedule.
• Plan and schedule client meetings.
• Prepare written documents, reports, and presentations.
• Develop conclusions and recommendations and draft client reports.
• Track hours spent on projects.
• Support DoD assessment and authorization activities.
• Perform vulnerability assessment and remediation.
• Maintain relationships with clients to identify new business opportunities.
• Travel to client sites as needed (50%+).
