You will translate security requirements into practical engineering plans, lead architecture decisions, and guide teams through regulated environments while balancing mission needs and timely delivery. U.S. Government clearance required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Software Engineering, or related.
• Experience applying systems engineering to complex software-intensive systems in regulated environments.
• Experience implementing cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST, CMMC, or comparable government security standards.
• Active U.S. Government security clearance appropriate for the mission environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the senior technical authority for cybersecurity and compliance across software-intensive mission systems.
• Translate compliance requirements into technical direction and priorities with engineering teams.
• Lead integration of cybersecurity and compliance into system architecture, cloud infra, and processes.
• Assess risk, identify gaps, and guide remediation strategies.
• Support security assessments and accreditation activities while balancing mission needs.
• Mentor engineers and promote secure systems engineering practices.
• Champion AI-assisted engineering while maintaining security and data protection.
