Vantor in Colorado seeks a Senior Staff Software Systems Engineer to serve as a senior technical authority across one or more mission-system domains for U.S. Government customers.

You will define, integrate, and evolve complex software-intensive systems spanning software, cloud, networking, cybersecurity, data management, and workflows. You will work across engineering disciplines, balance mission needs with security, mentor engineers, and collaborate with customers and program leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline and 8+ years in complex software-intensive systems.
• Active TS/SCI security clearance.
• Experience applying systems engineering to complex software systems.
• Strong software architecture, cloud, cybersecurity, and data-flow knowledge.
• Ability to influence technical decisions across teams.

Responsibilities

• Serve as senior technical authority across mission-system domains and guide system lifecycle decisions.
• Partner with U.S. Government customers to translate mission needs into technical direction.
• Lead system architecture, trade studies, and engineering decisions balancing performance and security.
• Integrate software, cloud infrastructure, networking, cybersecurity, and operations into cohesive systems.
• Mentor engineers, promote systems engineering practices, and lead cross-team collaboration.
• Champion AI-assisted engineering to improve analysis, documentation, and efficiency.
