Job summary

ThoughtStorm is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Architect in Durham, NC to lead design and implementation of identity-centric security, zero trust, and privileged access management across hybrid-cloud environments.

You will drive enterprise architecture programs, partner with security operations, and guide integrations with CyberArk and SailPoint while ensuring compliance with Fortune 500-scale requirements. Strong hands-on cloud and security leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field is required.
• 15+ years of Enterprise IT experience.
• Experience designing Zero Trust, IAM, and PAM architectures for large enterprise and hybrid-cloud environments.
• Experience with CyberArk and SailPoint architectures, integrations, and implementation strategy.
• Deep understanding of identity-centric security, privileged access management, RBAC, JIT/JEA access, MFA, SSO, and least-privilege principles.
• Experience with cloud security services (IAM, VPCs, WAF, CSPM, SASE) and DevSecOps pipeline integrations.
• Experience leading enterprise architecture programs.
• Strong cybersecurity architecture background and hands-on AWS/Azure experience.
• Experience supporting Fortune 500 organizations.
