HomeServe USA Corp. is seeking a Senior Security Architect to lead secure architecture reviews and governance for new and existing services before production.

You will drive risk assessments, remediation plans, and secure-by-design patterns across identity, network, and data security across on‑prem, cloud, and containerized environments. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years IT security experience with security architecture and solution design review.
• Experience designing Zero Trust and secure-by-design architectures with reusable patterns and reference architectures.
• Hands-on experience securing hybrid/multicloud environments (AWS preferred; Azure/GCP a plus).
• Experience integrating security into DevSecOps and secure SDLC: CI/CD security, IaC scanning, container/Kubernetes security.
• Experience with API/security for integrations and third-party SaaS security.
• Exposure to data/AI security, data protection, human-in-the-loop and model/vendor data handling risk.
• Familiarity with security standards (NIST CSF 2.0, NIST 800-53, ISO 27001, PCI DSS).
• Proficient in security technologies: IAM, encryption, DLP, SIEM, IDS/IPS, EDR, firewalls, AD.

Responsibilities

• Serve as security architecture review and design authority for new solutions and major changes; produce formal risk assessments and remediation plans.
• Champion Zero Trust architecture across identity, network, and data security in on-prem, cloud, and containerized environments.
• Develop enterprise security reference architectures and reusable patterns for self-service adoption.
• Review cloud security across hybrid/multicloud (AWS primary): IAM, Lambda, S3/KMS, Secrets Manager, VPC design, secure egress.
• Embed security into SDLC and DevSecOps tooling: CI/CD security, IaC scanning, container/Kubernetes security, shift-left practices.
• Assess secure design of data/AI systems and governance like human-in-the-loop, logging, and data handling controls.
• Review API/integration security (MuleSoft, Akamai); secure third-party SaaS integrations.
• Conduct third-party/vendor risk assessments and coordinate with Legal/Privacy on regulatory determinations.
• Map controls to frameworks like NIST CSF 2.0, NIST 800-53, ISO 27001; enforce security baselines.
• Enforce PAM standards for service accounts across data pipelines; participate in ARB/CAB approvals.
• Provide incident guidance and support; build knowledge base on security trends and regulatory changes.
• Coach delivery teams on secure design patterns and guardrails; answer technical questions to improve processes.
