Job summary

Zermount Inc. is seeking a highly experienced Cybersecurity Architect to lead the architecture and implementation of Zero Trust across a hybrid environment, spanning on-premises and cloud services.

This role also drives automated cATO processes and hands-on engineering leadership for network, cloud security, and compliance. The ideal candidate will have deep cybersecurity architecture expertise, strong collaboration with government leadership, and a track record of delivering secure, scalable

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field; years of experience may substitute.
• Experience with RMF, FedRAMP, FISMA and NIST SP 800-53 controls.
• Hands-on architecture and security engineering in cloud and hybrid environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Enterprise Security Architecture aligned with EO 14028 priorities.
• Design and lead Zero Trust Architecture across on-premises and cloud services.
• Lead cATO capability development with automated security control monitoring.
• Collaborate with technical and executive teams to translate requirements into architecture.
• Plan PoCs and assess client roadmaps and operational pain points.
• Ensure alignment with NIST and Federal Zero Trust strategies and compliance.
