Austin Industries is hiring a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to join our Dallas‑headquartered security team. You will design, implement, and maintain security controls across on‑premises, cloud, and hybrid environments, and act as a technical authority on cybersecurity engineering for the organization.

Responsibilities include leading threat detection, incident response support, vulnerability management, and collaboration with IT Ops, Infrastructure, and business teams to align security with

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or Cyber Security (desired).
• Proven experience designing and implementing security controls in enterprise environments.
• Experience implementing enterprise DLP solutions, SIEM/XDR platforms, and SOAR.
• Hands-on scripting and security automation (PowerShell, Python, Ansible, etc.).
• Experience with NIST/CIS frameworks and Zero Trust concepts.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain security controls across on‑premises, cloud, and hybrid environments.
• Engineer and support security solutions for endpoint protection, IAM, network security, data protection, and cloud security.
• Lead secure architecture reviews and security tooling selections (EDR/XDR, SIEM, DLP, CASB).
• Develop threat detection aligned with MITRE ATT&CK and support incident response activities.
