Job summary

Sabre Systems, LLC seeks a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to lead as the technical authority for custom application development and secure solutions across the environment. You will drive architecture, governance, and data protection, ensuring compliance with federal cybersecurity and privacy requirements, while partnering with leaders to improve security, quality, and value of core data assets.

The role requires hybrid work in the National Capital Region with on-site presence for classified work

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree plus 8 years relevant experience or Master's plus 4 years.
Active DoD Secret Clearance or higher; US citizen.
Experience with enterprise solution architecture, governance, and secure development.

Responsibilities

Provide technical expertise for secure application, workflow, and analytics development.
Own end-to-end solution architecture, ensuring security, compliance, scalability, and resilience from requirements through deployment.
Establish, implement, and enforce governance frameworks, secure development standards, architecture patterns, and RBAC.
Ensure all solutions meet cybersecurity, data protection, continuity, and federal compliance requirements.
Lead threat modeling, risk assessments, and mitigation planning for new and existing solutions.
Provide technical and security-focused guidance to journeyman and junior engineers; collaborate with leadership.
