Job summary

General Dynamics - IT seeks a cybersecurity engineer to support USSTRATCOM mission-critical IT services at Offutt AFB, NE. You will contribute to secure architectures, cloud security, and DevSecOps while using tools like Splunk, Nessus, and Nmap.

Requirements include a BA/BS, 5+ years in security roles, and an active Top Secret clearance with TS/SCI potential. Location is Offutt AFB, NE with a strong emphasis on national security systems.

Qualifications

• BA/BS (or equivalent experience) in a relevant field.
• 5+ years of cybersecurity engineering, information assurance, or security architecture.
• Active Top Secret clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI status.
• Certifications such as ITIL Foundations v4 or ability to obtain within 9 months.

Responsibilities

• Support cyber forensics, intrusion detection, incident response, and vulnerability assessment tools.
• Design secure architectures for enterprise systems, applications, and cloud platforms.
• Work with secure coding practices in Java, C++, and Python.
• Maintain cloud and network security configurations across AWS/Azure/GCP.
• Contribute to DevSecOps workflows and security automation.
