Job summary

SAIC is seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst to support USSOCOM SITEC 3 EOM at Fort Bragg, NC. The role focuses on defending global operations, improving SOC capabilities, mentoring junior analysts, and coordinating incident response in a 24/7 environment.

The ideal candidate has a TS/SCI clearance, a Bachelor's degree, 5 years of cyber security experience, and strong skills in threat detection, SIEM, and incident management. NDA and DoD compliance required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5 years of cybersecurity experience (4 years in lieu of degree accepted).
• Active TS/SCI clearance with US Citizenship required.
• Strong understanding of threat detection, malware analysis, and network security.
• Proficiency with SIEM, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, and forensic analysis tools.
• Ability to communicate detailed reports and lead initiatives in a fast-paced SOC.

Responsibilities

• Identify and analyze threats using SIEM, IDS/IPS, and advanced tools.
• Correlate data from multiple sources to uncover APTs and complex attack patterns.
• Lead high-priority security incidents, coordinating containment, eradication, and recovery.
• Deliver actionable post-incident reports and recommendations for mitigation.
• Mentor junior analysts and drive SOC improvements.
