Placements24 is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Analyst for a fully remote role with a global team. You will safeguard digital assets, analyze threats, and coordinate incident response while enhancing security posture across the organization.

Expertise in threat intelligence, incident response, and cloud security is essential. The position emphasizes collaboration with IT and development teams, ongoing vulnerability management, and continuous improvement of security programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, IT, or related field.
• Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH, SANS) are desirable.
• 5–7 years of hands-on cybersecurity experience focusing on threat analysis, incident response, and vulnerability management.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security alerts and investigate incidents to provide timely response.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to remediate weaknesses.
• Develop, implement, and maintain security policies, standards, and procedures.
• Analyze threat intelligence to anticipate and defend against threats.
• Manage security tools (SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, EDR, DLP).
• Lead incident response, including containment, eradication, and recovery.
• Create security awareness training for employees.
