Job summary

CDM Smith Inc. in the United States is seeking a Senior Cyber Security Analyst to protect critical software systems within water utilities and infrastructure.

You will focus on securing the software development lifecycle by embedding security controls, identifying vulnerabilities, and ensuring resilient applications in water environments. You will partner with engineering teams to detect threats, perform threat intelligence, and lead incident response.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 6 years of relevant cybersecurity experience.
• Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a college degree.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct advanced security monitoring and detect emerging threats with custom rules.
• Lead incident response for complex threats, including forensics and root cause analysis.
• Design and execute vulnerability assessments and pen tests across infra and apps.
• Collaborate with IT and development teams to remediate vulnerabilities in the SDLC.
• Review security controls for regulatory compliance and drive remediation.
• Research threat actors and develop threat intelligence and defense strategies.
• Mentor junior analysts and build team capability.
• Support enterprise security strategy aligned with business goals.
