Job summary

Trinnex is seeking a Senior Cyber Security Analyst to join the Security Team and protect software systems supporting critical water infrastructure. You will embed security into the SDLC, manage threats, and drive advanced DevSecOps practices across the organization.

You will work with engineering to secure cloud-native workflows, perform threat hunting, vulnerability management, and incident response while mentoring junior staff and shaping security strategies for public sector projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity or related field.
• 6+ years of relevant cybersecurity experience.
• Equivalent additional directly related experience considered in lieu of a degree.
• Travel may be required depending on duties and workload.

Responsibilities

• Conduct advanced security monitoring and develop custom rules to detect threats.
• Lead incident response for complex events including forensics and root-cause analysis.
• Design and execute vulnerability assessments and pen tests across infra and apps.
• Remediate vulnerabilities with DevSecOps teams and strengthen secure coding in the SDLC.
• Review security controls and lead remediation per regulatory frameworks.
• Research threat actors and develop threat intelligence and defense strategies.
• Mentor junior analysts and contribute to team capability development.
• Support enterprise security strategy aligned with business objectives.
