Job summary

BCMC is supporting a U.S. Government customer by delivering rapid deployment and management of secure cloud-based engagement kits for cyber incident response and threat hunting.

The Senior JCDC Cyber Triage Analyst serves as a technical subject matter expert, handling complex threat intelligence assessments while mentoring junior analysts and coordinating with interagency partners to inform national cyber defense priorities.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with ability to obtain DHS suitability.
• 5-7 years in threat intelligence, SOC operations, or cyber incident response.
• Expertise in malware analysis and threat attribution.
• Strong knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK and intelligence-driven defense concepts.
• Experience coordinating with federal agencies and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Conduct advanced triage and analysis of high-severity cyber threat intelligence and IOC packages.
• Serve as escalation point for challenging threat assessments requiring deep expertise.
• Perform IOC enrichment using classified and unclassified sources.
• Coordinate with FBI, NSA, USCYBERCOM and other partners on joint threat assessments.
• Provide mentorship and training to mid-level and junior triage analysts.
• Develop analytical tradecraft, triage playbooks, and decision matrices.
• Lead projects to enhance triage processes, automation, and threat detection capabilities.
• Author detailed threat assessments and intelligence briefs for leadership and partners.
• Represent the triage team in interagency working groups and information sharing forums.
• Identify patterns across reports to detect campaigns or actor activity.
• Quality review analyst products and provide constructive feedback.
• Support after-hours on-call rotation for critical incidents.
• Contribute to strategic planning for JCDC operational capability development.
• Interface with critical infrastructure partners to understand threat concerns.
