Job summary

BCMC supports a U.S. Government customer delivering rapid deployment of secure cloud-based engagement kits for cyber incident response and threat hunting.

The JCDC Cyber Triage Analyst provides frontline triage, analyzes threat reports, IOCs, and incident notices, and coordinates with federal partners to determine severity and recommended actions. The role emphasizes independent research, timely escalation, and maintaining precise documentation while collaborating across physical locations.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Active TS/SCI clearance required.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience stated.
• 3–5 years in threat intel, SOC ops, or incident response.
• Ability to work across locations and coordinate with partners.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial triage of cyber threat tickets, incident reports, and IOC submissions.
• Analyze IPs, domains, file hashes, traffic patterns, malware artifacts.
• Assess threat severity, credibility, and potential impact to critical infrastructure.
• Enrich IOCs using threat intel sources and OSINT.
• Prepare concise triage reports with actionable recommendations.
• Route tickets to appropriate teams and interagency partners.
• Maintain documentation in ticketing systems and knowledge bases.
• Participate in shift handoffs and daily briefings.
• Contribute to triage playbooks and SOPs.
• Monitor emerging threat campaigns and adversary activity.
• Provide feedback to submitters on outcomes.
