Job summary

Synertex LLC in Arlington, VA seeks a Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst SME to support a national cybersecurity organization client. You will oversee collection, assessment, and analysis of threat intel using Google Threat Intelligence and MITRE ATT&CK, delivering strategic and tactical intelligence for defensive operations.

Qualifications

• Eastern Europe-focused geopolitical and cyber threat intelligence experience.
• Experience with cyber threat intelligence analysis principles in a government or commercial environment.
• Knowledge of Eastern Europe-related adversaries and TTP.
• Ability to convert raw cyber data into actionable intelligence–written narrative and tactical formats.
• Experience presenting succinct briefings, presentations, and reports to technical and executive leadership.
• Knowledge of information security threats, attacks, and vulnerabilities.
• TS/SCI clearance.
• Education/Experience: HS Diploma or GED with 18+ years, Bachelor's 14+ years, or Master's 12+ years in cybersecurity.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, collect, and analyze cyber threat intelligence focused on Eastern Europe to identify emerging threats, adversary TTPs.
• Conduct strategic and tactical cyber threat assessments to evaluate risks to systems, networks, and missions.
• Leverage Google Threat Intelligence and MITRE ATT&CK to enrich and correlate threat data.
• Research and track nation-state and APT actors targeting government and enterprise environments.
• Correlate multiple sources to distinguish credible threats and assess operational impact.
• Produce finished intelligence reports, threat assessments, and executive briefings for leadership.
• Perform adversary research to identify evolving capabilities, infrastructure, malware, and attack methods.
• Analyze cyber incidents to determine attacker intent, attribution, scope, and defensive actions.
• Develop actionable intelligence recommendations to enhance cyber defense operations.
• Collaborate with analysts, incident responders, and cybersecurity teams to support threat detection and mitigation.
• Maintain awareness of geopolitical developments in Eastern Europe and their cyber implications.
• Document findings and ensure products meet intelligence standards and reporting requirements.
